Get ready to Rock the Roller Derby!
The Sport you are about to play is rough, involves a lot of training, and has completely unscripted bouts. It will require a lot of hard work; however, practice time will soon become your favorite part of the week.

Practice schedule
is usually Tuesdays (7p-10p), Thursdays (7p-9p) and Sundays (10:30a - 1:30p) at Skateland at 5512 Hull Street Road, Richmond.

Please read the FAQs of how to getting rolling with RCR. At your first practice, be sure to bring the completed and signed skater information sheet/quesionnaire, Skater code of Conduct, and a copy of your drivers license or ID card and insurance card the League Secretary (Feisty Demeanor - secretary@rivercityrollergirls.org) or Skater Relations (Lucifer Ball - vice-president@rivercityrollergirls.org).

No previous skating or derby skill is required. We provide you with a specialized Fresh Meat coach who will teach you everything you need to know to become Richmond's newest River City Rollergirl. You must be female and 18 years old or older. We have no age cap.

The Training Cycle lasts 3 intense months, and you'll be required to attend at least 60% of practices. Our normal practice times are Tuesday 7pm-10pm, Thursday 7pm-9pm and Sunday 10:30am-1:30pm.

For visiting and interested potential fresh meat, we provide protective gear, and to rent skates costs $3 cash to the rink. Protective gear is limited to first come first served, so come early and grab some gear! We do not allow anyone to skate without gear, so bring your own if you have it.

We also need referees, officials, artists and sponsors for our league and our events.  If you know anyone who is interested, please pass along our contact information or contact brawlingbarista@rivercityrollergirls.org.
